General Dentistry

Nicolette Family Dental utilizes its 25 plus years’ experience to help you, our patients, have beautiful, healthy, lasting smiles; all, provided in a caring, comfortable setting. No matter if your need is urgent or preventative, we strive to provide a personal experience that exceeds your expectations.

Emergency Dental Care

When a patient finds themself experiencing severe oral pain or a tooth injury, it is an emergency. At Nicolette Family Dental, we never want our patients to be in pain or embarrassed by a tooth injury. Dr. Nicolette is just a call away. There is no waiting for an answering service to redirect your call. You have access to your dentist. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call (614) 878-2273, we are just a call away.

Preventative Cleanings

Preventative care, or dental cleanings, should be taken advantage of semi-annually. Hygiene appointments include X-rays, cancer screenings, exams, and of course, polishing. Preventative cleanings save you money by allowing us to identify cavities and other health concerns before they become more serious and cost you more money. Schedule your check-up today!

“A smile is worth a thousand words.” At Nicolette Family Dental, we want to provide you with a smile that communicates health and happiness to others. We hope you won’t let missing teeth prevent you from sharing with the world. We can provide you with beautiful, functional teeth that look and function as well as the ones you lost. Whether you are a first-time denture wearer or are seeking a replacement set, whether you need a full mouth replacement, or a partial, our team will help you regain your smile. Call our office today to schedule your appointment!

Crowns and Bridges

Damaged, decayed, or missing teeth can rob a patient of their smile and confidence. Allow Nicolette Family Dental to help restore your smile with our crowns or bridges. These are both beautiful and functional, almost like your original teeth.

Crowns are utilized over the original damaged tooth, which strengthens and restores your tooth to an almost new condition. Crowns often, but not always, need a root canal prior to application. With our updated technology, the Cerac machine, we are able to provide same-day crowns for our patients. This cuts down on additional office visits and waiting for a lab to return the crown.

Dental bridges are designed to close missing spaces between your teeth, eliminating gaps caused by missing teeth. The porcelain replacement is natural-looking and durable, allowing you to eat as normal and, most important, have a natural smile.

A filling is a simple procedure that most people will need, even if they brush, floss, and avoid sugary snacks. Cavities, while inconvenient, are an important treatment and should be taken care of quickly to avoid a more serious and invasive treatment to rid your tooth of decay. Nicolette Family Dental offers composite, tooth-colored fillings to keep your mouth healthy.

Bleaching or Teeth Whitening

Tooth enamel can discolor or stain with the use of wine, cigarettes, coffee, or poor dental hygiene. While yellow teeth might keep you from smiling, our whitening services offer you an alternative. Our office offers several quick, painless solutions to brighten your smile.

Sleep Apnea Appliances

Statistics show that Sleep Apnea affects about 30 million people, but only 6 million are diagnosed. Sleep Apnea is a sleeping disorder that is characterized by a blockage in breathing during sleep. The condition is most often associated with snoring or gasping during sleep.

At Nicolette Family Dental, we know that sleep apnea can affect your health. If left untreated, it can lead to hypertension, stroke, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy (enlargement of the muscle tissue of the heart), heart failure, diabetes, obesity, and heart attacks. Dr. Nicolette and his staff can offer you solutions.

First, we go through a process to confirm your diagnosis. This includes a take-home sleep study, which eliminates the need to go to a sleep lab. You can take it from the comfort of your own bed. Secondly, Dr. Nicolette has been trained to create an appliance that is removable and comfortable to use at night. He has personal experience and success in treating sleep apnea.
